A rare moment in time to savour, learn and collect. Elixirs of Life is a gala evening of rare and fine wines plus exquisite dining catered by the Four Seasons Resort Whistler.

Elixirs of Life presents a live auction of once-in-a-lifetime premier, collectable wines.   A silent auction compliments, with numerous collectable wines and works of art. Also included are fine adventures from One Ocean Expeditions, Rocky Mountaineer and others.  Throughout, attendees pleasure in fine dining paired with international wine tasting and education. By evening’s end, each guest will have engaged their philanthropic spirit with the missions of the Rotary International through the mastery of our auctioneer and engaging speakers.

Elixirs of Life is presented by the Whistler Rotary Club Foundation. Funds raised support Rotary International’s quest to eradicate polio – Polio Plus, as well as numerous Whistler initiatives. There is much work to do. On October 26, 2010 the World Health Organization (WHO) announced a coordinated effort by 15 African countries to drive out polio. Rotary International will play a major role.   CBC News has additional information about the recent outbreak of polio in Africa and the effort to combat it.

To date, Elixirs of Life has raised $55,000.00 to meet the challenge of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s matching grant, so that we can eradicate polio from the World once and for all.
